Crooked Line is Nick Hans' solo studio introduction to the world. Following his much acclaimed Magnolia Session, the studio takes on this album show a much more developed and focused approach to revisited tracks such as 'Highballin' (Everywhere I Go)', 'Pineywood Blues', and the title track 'Crooked Line' as well as new songs such as 'Cryin' Shame' and 'Lay Me Down'. Hailing from Taos NM, Nick Hans has been honing his craft of lonesome, soulful old-time folk since his days busking on the streets of New Orleans with string bands such as The Stay All Night Rounders and The Sluetown Strutters while traveling the country and living the life of an authentic folk singer.
